My Square Register had two very bad crashes this weekend. The customer facing display crashed completely and went to black both times around 10pm during our evening rush at my bar. I restarted the register both times and when it came back the customer facing display was stuck on an update both times during this update I couldn't use it and had to manually input credit card transactions.
Has anyone else had these problems? Was this a one-off thing with an emergency update this weekend or do I need to replace my hardware?
