Creating a free item

Is it possible to create a free item for giveaways and send it as a online checkout option?

At this time it would not be possible to create a checkout link for a free item. However, if you create a Square Online store you can offer a free item with that and provide a link to it to people. To create one, click on the link for "Online" in your Square Dashboard.
