Correct a number when charging on point of sale

If I make a mistake typing in the amount , how can I change the number.  I do not see any backspace key and cannot see how to delete the sale.

Also, if the client has a credit how do I deduct that  and still get tax for the enire amount.

To touch on your second question, are you using Square Invoices? Or are you keeping track of your customers credits outside of Square?
