Connecting a Printer Driven Cash Drawer directly to the Square Register

Hi there,

I noticed the new Square Register has a port for an ethernet cable next to the USB ports. Could I connect a printer driven cash drawer directly in to this port? We don't provide paper receipts so I was not planning on buying a receipt printer.

The answer here will depend on what kind of printer-driven cash drawer you would like to use, @trendingupward!

Luckily, we have a tool for this 😊I went ahead and selected Square Register as the device, so the cash drawers listed on this page are the ones that will be compatible with a Square Register. I hope this helps! ✨
