Cant Connect Device To My Tablet

Trying to pair my tablet with my laptop, but get message 'network not connected'.  I am connected.  Should bluetooth be off or on?  Any other suggestions?  I have a samsung tablet which I have used before w/wi-fi.

Hey @tiedyejudy - Just want to clarify that you're attempting to pair your tablet with your laptop and not a reader, correct? If so, we're not able to help with that here since they're third-party hardware. I recommend reaching out to Samsung and the manufacturer of your laptop for instructions on doing that.

If you meant that you want to connect your reader with your tablet, you can find the steps for that at Set Up the Square Reader for Contactless and Chip. Our readers are not able to be paired with a laptop at this time.
