Can you hide inventory from employees?

Hello group and sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer. I own a liquor store with a single square stand pos up in the front of the store. It is on this stand that my cashiers clock in and out. My questions is this... is there a way to prevent my employees from viewing the store inventory on this square stand?

I want them to be able to scan all the item sku's but not know how much inventory is in the back store room.

I went to double check on this, and the ability to hide inventory counts within the Point of Sale app isn't available at this time. So that I can surface additional insight internally, can you share a bit more on why this is important for your business?
