I have a new employee who will be paid commission on service and retail. When adding them, should i choose standard ($5) or mobile staff? I would like to use payroll to account for taxes as well and She will not be doing anything with the dashboard except taking payments.

At this time, the only way to activate Square Payroll features for an employee is to add them as an employee: Add Employees to Square Payroll. The Mobile Staff option allows your employee to collect payments, but does not include advanced management/reporting features.
