Let me explain our business so you have an idea what we are. We are family owned and ran. We sell baled hay to individuals. They come to our warehouse and pick up bales which we load for them. We also offer delivery for those interested. We have a variety of different products. We sell each bale by the average pound. We adjust the price per bale as the bale weights change. To be more specific, we weigh the shipment and divide the weight by amount of bales on the load. When we receive a new shipment the bale weight changes slightly and we adjust our price accordingly. We purchase our hay in the same manner. We pay for it by weight. So our product price is variable. My first questions to you are:
1. How do I track each shipment of product separately? Is there a way to attach load numbers? When I add inventory at a different price, how do I sell old stock at the old price?
2. When a customer requests delivery of product, is there a function on square where I can track up coming deliveries? They will be COD deliveries.
3. Is there a function to add delivery fees and automatically add them to the sale?
And possibly to calculate the mile radius for delivery fees?
