I cannot seem to set up my schedule from the app

To set up your schedule you'll need to access the Dashboard on Squareup.com.  You can log in on a mobile browser or on a computer, but the in depth hours and schedule need to be updated from the Dashboard itself.

This Getting Started Guide might help you navigate the Dashboard a bit while you are updating your schedule.
