Is it possible to use 2 different devices in the course of one sale. For example, at a craft market, can I process the sale using the POS app on my ipad, but process the payment through on my phone (Android)? I prefer to use my iPad for the POS, but it does not have 4G. So I would like to ring up the sale on my iPad, and then process the payment through using my cell phone. Is there a way to connect the payment processed on the phone with the sale on the iPad?
I haven't tried this, but you should be able to write up a sale as an "open ticket" and open that ticket on another device to take payment. Provided they are both logged in to the same store location and same user/employee, and you have enabled the "open ticket" option on both devices. Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
