Until you get your lost card straightened out with Square, you can still take charge/debit sales. What will happen is that Square will continue to accumulate your funds in your account until you either get a new card or manually request a deposit, which will transfer your funds to your linked bank account. I'm not sure if there's a maximum amount of time you can wait (I don't think so) or maximum amount of money (again, probably not) you're allowed to accumulate in your deposit account
