Trying to get our fees broken down by category
No problem @SAC1! Here's how to add category sales to a custom report:


Once you've set up your report it will look something like this! You can use the filters at the top to change the date range / time / location. If you need to make changes to your report click Edit.

I'm also a business very much in need of this feature to be able to see Square fees for each Category in reports. Really hope you can resolve this issue as so many of us need it.

I'm very new to the square, but I believe I'm trying to do the same thing as these folks above me. I want to see it separated by the items I sell right now. Right now, I sell one item at a time and get the fees associated with that one item, but I want to add multiple items for sale and see what each one's fees are for that specific item. Not a giant lump sum.

@SAR400 - Thanks for your patience. After testing this out on my end, there is not a way to obtain a report like the one you would like. At this time, this is a feature request.
As mentioned above by @JJ_ feel free to leave your request in our Ideate board where other sellers can chime in with the same request making this feature a stronger case for our product team to consider.

Adding an additional request almost five years later for this feature. We are a non-profit and we need to be able to break down fees by category for proper bookkeeping.

Just stopping by to bump this thread, again. I'm really confused by the lack of any actual progress with this because, from what I've found in just 10 minutes of searching discussion posts, it's pretty evident that this has been repeatedly requested since 2016 - 7 YEARS. Normally, I wouldn't mind following protocol and submitting an official request for this but it's obvious that doing so wouldn't really be worthwhile at this point.
