It looks like your device is compatible with our readers. As long as you can run the Square app on your device, you can accept payments in Offline Mode, which does not require a WiFi connection.
Any transactions accepted while in Offline Mode will be processed when you regain connectivity. If a payment is not processed within 72 hours, it will expire and the funds will not be captured from your customer. So please keep that in mind.
There are additional risks that come with using Offline Mode. Square is not responsible for any loss due to declined cards or expired payments taken while offline or for chargebacks. In addition, Square can not contact any customers on your behalf should a payment be declined or expire when taken in Offline Mode. You will also be unable to add customers or cards on file to your Offline sales. Keep in mind that chip card transactions and contactless (NFC) payments can’t be processed in Offline Mode when using the Contactless + Chip Reader.
