Can I add a past transaction paid with Cash to my records?
I've done a couple sales where people have paid me with cash or venmo and I'm wondering if I can add these transactions to my square profile to have a complete record of all my transactions. Ideally it would be great to add the date these transactions occurred. Is there a way to do this?
There's not a way to back date transactions when you put a new one in. But you are still able to record cash payments or "other tender" type of payments and make a note on them. In the note, you can include the date the payment was received and who it was from.
Is there a way to then manually adjust the date in my dashboard online? Because if not... then my reporting is wrong 😕 — it would seem a product failure to not be able to record historical transactions.
