Business Sold, was using Square Payroll. Will yearly W2s/Q4 taxes, etc still be paid by Sq. Payrol

I have sold my business and was using Square Payroll. Will yearly W2s/Q4 taxes, etc still be paid by Square Payroll even if I cancel it?  What are the steps for closing down Square Payroll when selling the business?  Thank you!

Hi @martindale ! When you request to close your Square Payroll account, you will be asked a few questions to ensure the account is properly closed. As long as you select that your business closed or you sold your business and the new owners are using a different EIN, Square Payroll will file your annual tax forms, W-2s and Q4 tax filings!
