My shipping service (Pirate Ship) is not integrated with Square.
I have no problem moving orders from Square to PS, but going in the other direction is difficult.
Is there a way to upload a file with order updates? My particular interest is changing order status from Pending to Shipped and to provide the tracking number.
Entering this data is very tedious, requiring many screen traversals. It's also error prone - I have to match the order with my shipping record and then copy the tracking number and paste it into Square. Then go back to the order list and move on to the next order.
More than once I've copied the wrong tracking number and only catch it because I make it a point to double check. Eventually I'm going to post the wrong one.
SO...
1. Is there any better way to update shipping status and tracking number in a batch or bulk mode? I'd love to provide a CSV or spreadsheet file with the required data.
2. Is there any way to modify shipping status and/or tracking number once the shipping dialog closes? I see that the button to Mark Shipped goes away and I cannot find anything that lets me edit shipping info.
Terrible to have to do this manually and inconsiderate not to provide a way to correct errors in manually-entered information.

When it comes to Pirate Ship, Square still doesn't integrate with it yet. I would recommend keeping an eye out on our Partnerships page for the apps that we are able to work with.
To answer your other questions, right now both of those would be Feature Requests for the Online Store too. I would be happy to send this over to our Online Store Product Team, so they can get some eyes on this request.
