Greetings,
I just sent an email campaign. Noticed that there are 80 customers on my list with invalid email addresses that bounce. How can I delete those addresses from my customer list, WITHOUT deleting the actual customer record? I don’t want to do them one at a time, for obvious reasons. So I’m hoping that there is some automated way to accomplish this and clean up my customer list.
Thanks,
Chip
Hi there, @TheRealChipA - thanks for reaching out here again on the Seller Community! Sorry to hear you had quite a few email correspondences bounce.
At this time we do not offer a formal way to remove bounced email addresses from Customer Contact profile in bulk. The only workaround here would be to manually remove them individually.
Let us know if you have any additional questions! I am happy to flag your feedback over to our Product Teams for further visibility, as well.
still no solution to this problem? hard to believe....
Welcome back to the Community, @sheryl222 -
Appreciate you reaching out about this. Something I have been able to find when it comes to bouncing emails, is that it's usually on the side of the email host.
For some reason they will view Square emails as spam.
If this isn't the case, then it would be that the email was entered incorrectly.
Please let me know if you're still having issues when you send out mass emails. Thank you!
I have the same issue and it's a basic function to add to the email campaign report page.
Square can keep the email address in the system and just set it to "Bounced email - do not mail".
Then when a new email address is entered, set to subscibe.
Seems that after 3 years Square still hasn't got its mail server reputation management up to speed.
Square is hurting everyones business by not addressing this! Sad...
