I need help figuring out why when I try to book a appoint on my website, it takes me all the way to the calendar but the dates are shaded and I can't book a date. Can you tell me why this is happening and how to fix it?
My website takes me to the square booking options, but when it reaches the calendar to pick the date, all the dates are shaded and I can't book a date. I checked my selected available times and it do not cause the entire calendar to be shaded as if I am booked. Please advise on how to fix this.
Hey @Nikkipink - Do you happen to have your personal calendar synced to your Appointments calendar. If so, do you have any personal events that may be blocking your service hours? For example, if you have any personal events that you have listed as All Day in your personal appointments, they may block off your whole day in Appointments as well.
If that's not the case, I recommend reaching out to our CS team and they can help you take a closer look at this.
It makes no sense to add services on my online store if customers aren’t able to chose a date & time. Is there anyway to do this?

If you'd like your customers to book their own appointments, then you will want to set up the Online Booking under Appointments on your Dashboard.
There are a couple of settings you can change under there too. One in particular, is the "Reservation Guarantee" because it will allow appointments to be accepted automatically or gives you the option to accept each one.
In my experience, some sellers like to have the option to deny appointments, so they turn on the approval for each appointment.

I already have the Square Appointments App, but I’m currently designing my online store. I just don’t know how to link the appointments with my online store. I added my services as items and changed their types to services. But, when people are booking through the site, there’s no way to actually book a specific date. Is there anyway to do this?
Hey! I'm stepping in for Kassi real fast. I found another thread that may help get you on the right track as you should be able to allow customers to book appointments on specific days/times.

Sorry to hear about the trouble with your Square Appointments bookings. Are your appointments coming up as grey, or shaded in your calendar? Do you have several staff members, and what is your appointment availability looking like? Looking forward to hearing back from you!

I'm having a similar issue but on my appointment app my calendar is off by an hour for example if my available hours are 12-7, it's showing available 1-8 I can't seem to fix this. My business hours are right but not my calendar on my end

This definitely sounds odd! One thing that comes to mind here is your time zone settings. Check your location time zone from your Dashboard by heading to Account & Settings > Business > Locations. From here, select your location and confirm your time zone settings are correct.

I thought that as well, and I checked to make sure they were right. I also noticed that it changed to this difference in the middle of March. Previous to that it's all correct. I'm in AZ and we don't have daylight savings, I'm not sure if that affects anything? But I do have it on AZ time.
It appears this is the case between March 13 to November 13 🤷
Thanks for checking on these settings @Famesalon76! Another settings that comes to mind regarding bookings would be under Appointments > Settings > Calendar & Booking. Can you let me know if your appointments are locked to your time zone, or whether customers can select theirs?
