Apply Discount when Two items Are Purchased Together

For Halloween, I am selling a ghost tour in the evening and tarot card readings throughout the day. I'd like to set it up so that if someone purchases the ghost tour and tarot card reading together, they get a $5 discount. You can buy a tarot card reading for $30, a ghost tour for $35, or you can get both for just $60.

Is there any way to do this in Square? These items will be sold through our online store.

Hi @rustynailwinery.  I thought about this for a while and only came up with one option.  You can’t directly do this with Square right now because there is no way to apply a discount/coupon based upon other items in your card (ie - a conditional discount).  So you only have one workaround that I’m aware of.

That involves creating a new online item called “Halloween Combo” or something similar.  If there are modifiers -=- like different card backings, or different kinds of tours — you’d need to create and attach those, too, but those probably already exist for your individual items.  Price the Combo at $60.  That’s the most straight-forward solution, until Square creates a more robust coupon/discount system that is shareable across all platforms so we can reduce duplication!  (See how I combined two requests there?! LOL)

Let me know if you have any other questions.
