Any way to make the Track Inventory and Low Stock Alert options default to ON instead of OFF?

When we create a purchase order within Square the new items which are created don't automatically have options to go within the item to switch the defaults to ON for Tracking inventory and LSA.  So after we create the item and later receive it within the Inventory Purchase Order option, we then have to go to Items and for each individual new item created in Purchase Orders, turn on Tracking and LSA.  This is INCREDIBLY tedious and not to mention time consuming.  Is there a place in settings to allow TI and LSA to default to ON always unless changed manually? It would make more sense since most businesses are wanting to track inventory, leaving these options defaulted to NO blows my mind.

@mraja1972 I just escalated your post to our Square Retail specialists who confirmed that this is a feature request that they are tracking closely.

 

In the meantime, if you update your item library using the csv file template, and include a stock count in that file, then the Tracking Inventory and LSA (Low Stock Alerts) will default to on. I hope that helps and saves you some time!
