After Pay Conversion

Hey Yall! I'm looking to switch back to square. But, i want to bring afterpay with me. Can you guys provide insight?

@Thc2018 Afterpay is integrated directly into all of the square online stores now without you having to do anything.  Square owns afterpay now.  Were you using it in a specific way?

Please, how do I get Square to integrate Afterpay into my check out both online and instore check out. I called Square support but the agent couldn't seem to get Afterpay to my check out

Hello @Dyvine

 

To enable or disable Afterpay payments on your Square Online site please see below:

  1. From your Square Online Overview page, go to Settings > Checkout or Shared Settings > Checkout.
  2. Toggle the Afterpay option on or off.

Afterpay is not on the payment option in my Square account, I've checked over and over. I even called support team and they don't know why Afterpay is not on my check out payment option. I got my website through Square weebly and I don't know why they wouldn't give me option of Afterpay after using Square for like two years

Sorry for the delay in getting this resolved. AfterPay is new to us so we are till working out the kinks. Can you please reach out to our Customer Success Team directly for more hands-on' support. They can make the necessary changes to your account if you qualify to use AfterPay.

We would like to get AfterPay for in store check out.  We do not sell product online, we are primarily a service business.  Is there a timeline for adding POS AfterPay feature?

I don't have a timeline for adding the Afterpay option for non-online products, but the Feature Request process has been updated. 

 

To submit your request or see if it has been submitted, you can head over to the Ideate Board. You can search to see if another seller has submitted the request & add your vote. Another option is create your own!

Square didn't make it available for my online store yet and I got my website with Square weebly. I've contacted them over and over because my customers are so much demanding for Afterpay payment option so I guess they will make it available in May when they have increased the rate percentage as they published.

Sorry to hear that Afterpay isn't available for your account at this time. I recommend reading over the Afterpay Eligibility section here in this Support Article for additional context. Eligibility for Afterpay is dependent on numerous factors, including how your business is structured and what you sell.

 

And to answer @scentsnmore's question, We don’t currently have an integration for in-person orders and Afterpay. We’re working to bring Afterpay as an option for in-person orders through Square in the future.

Thanks but my business is eligible and I've reached out to support team who told me it's a bug from their end and they're trying to fix it for couple of weeks now. Seriously, it's not helping my business as most of my customers prefer where they can pay with Afterpay. My business is Apparels/Clothing

When I have someone in-store that wants AFTERPAY I just have them do a self-checkout on an ipad and choose in-store pickup as the delivery and AFTERPAY as payment method.
