Managing your team's time is a critical job as a Square seller. Ensuring that your team members' time is accurate requires time out of your day through review of timecards and approvals. We have heard your feedback to add automation to this area and now offer the ability to have your team members automatically clocked out at the end of their scheduled shifts.

We’ve recently brought the Category Rollups feature that used to only be available to Square for Restaurants users over to Square Appointments Plus and Premium subscribers. This unlocks a bunch of cool opportunities for beauty sellers so I wanted to take a second to highlight one way to use it that should help alleviate a common request I’ve heard from sellers — the ability to split your category or item sales reports by retail sales vs service sales when you already have other categories being used.

We’re happy to introduce first and last visit filters. Now you can easily segment and filter for new customers who just made their first visit and lapsed customers who haven’t visited in a few months, based on your own definitions and parameters. This filtering enables you to easily target customers for ‘win back’ or ‘welcome’ one-off campaigns, incentivize new or lapsed customers with promotions and discounts, as well as gain important insights.
