Square Terminal Release Notes: SQUID 3.34

Hello Square Community! Here are the latest release notes, which will be updated about every three weeks with software updates for Terminal. 

New features available in SQUID 3.34:

• [New Feature] Epson Printer Integration - Now integrated with Epson printers. Print receipts or order tickets from your device to supported thermal and impact Epson printers, connected over USB or network.

• [New Feature] Cash Management - Square Terminal now supports cash management. Track your starting cash and paid in/paid out amounts, and generate end of day cash drawer reports.

• [New Feature] CVM Limit Increases - With physical distancing and ever-important hand hygiene, contactless payments are top-of-mind for consumers and sellers. We are rolling out an increase of contactless CVM limits:

• United States: American Express from $25 USD to $200 USD
• United States: Mastercard / Visa / Discover from $25 USD to $100 USD
• Canada: American Express / Mastercard / Visa / Discover from $100 CAD to $250 CAD
• Australia: American Express / Mastercard / Visa from $100 AUD to $200 AUD
• Great Britain: American Express / Mastercard / Visa from £30 GBP to £45 GBP

• [Bug Fixes] We made a number of other bug fixes and stability improvements to keep you running smoothly. 

You can check which version of SQUID you have by going to Settings > General > About Terminal. If you don’t see this feature immediately, don’t worry.
