Square Terminal Release Notes: SQUID 3.14

Hello Square Community! Here are the latest release notes, which will be updated about every three weeks with software updates for Terminal. 

New features available in SQUID 3.14:

• [New Feature] Fractional Quantities

Decimal quantities are here. Whether you’re selling 2.137 pounds of chocolate or 1.85 gallons of chocolate sauce, you can now ring up items down to the decimal. All your fractional items will also appear accurately in your receipts, reports, and refunds. Try it out: Go to Items, Create Item, then select a Unit Type.

• [Bug Fixes] We made a number of other bug fixes and stability improvements to keep you running smoothly. 

You can check which version of SQUID you have by going to Settings > General > About Terminal. If you don’t see this feature immediately, don’t worry.
