Square Register Release Notes: SQUID 3.8

Hello Square Community! Here are the latest release notes, which will be updated about every three weeks with software updates for Register. 

New features available in SQUID 3.8:

• [New Feature] Post Transaction Dark Theme

Use Square Loyalty? Your customer screens just got a fresh, darker look, designed to make it easier for customers to enroll in your Loyalty program and redeem rewards.

• [New Feature] Items Tutorial

Three new app tutorials are now available. Whether you’re new to Square or just want a refresher, we’ll walk you through creating items, using the item grid, and taking a payment with items. Check it out in Support > Tutorials and Tours.

• [Bug Fixes] We made a number of other bug fixes and stability improvements to keep you running smoothly. 

You can check which version of SQUID you have by going to Settings > General > About Register. If you don’t see this feature immediately, don’t worry.
