Square Register Release Notes: SQUID 2.50

Hello Square Community! Here are the latest release notes, which will be updated about every three weeks with software updates for Register.

New features available in SQUID 2.50:

• [New Feature] Gift receipts

You can now print gift receipts that don't show item or price details—just a receipt code.

• [New Feature] Deposit Scheduling

Customize your deposit schedule from Square Register. Go to Settings > Deposits to choose from same day, one to two business days, or custom deposits.

• [New Feature] Reprint order tickets

In our 2.48 update, we made it possible to reprint a ticket from your current cart. Now you can also reprint a ticket from your open tickets.

1.         Tap Tickets.
2.         Tap Edit.
3.         Select the ticket to reprint, and then tap Reprint Ticket.

• [Bug Fixes] Swipe to Delete

We fixed a bug which prevents someone with a cashier role to edit an open ticket without a passcode while using swipe to delete.

• [Bug Fixes] We made a number of other bug fixes and stability improvements to keep you running smoothly.
