I was experimenting with team permissions and found the all or nothing permission for Square Online to be highly lacking. If I assigned staff to have access to Square Online, from their perspective, they have full access to literally everything for my Square Online Shop, including the ability to:
- manage online items
- manage online orders
- ability to add pop-ups/marketing messages
- change all of the web content
- redirect my domain
- change my storename.square.site link
- upgrade or change my Square Online plan
- disable the checkout
Surely there must be a better way to provide team permissions than to allow for all of this or none of this inside Square Online.
Can the Square team please work on the ability to differentiate different levels of team permissions within Square Online so that users that are assigned Square Online permissions can't sabotage the site in case anything happens?
