Feature Request: Hide itemized list of items included within an invoice or other transaction

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Invoice multiple items into one group

Is there currently a way to select multiple items and have them grouped into one charge on a customers invoice?

Example:

I am an electrical contractor and would like to select multiple stock materials for a customers installation.

20 m of wire ($20)

2 electrical boxes ($2)

2 switches ($2)

4 connectors ($1)

Rather than an itemized list as above, have them grouped as "Material - $25" on the invoice. 

This way I can keep track of my inventory, but do not have to provide a detailed itemized list of materials to my customers.
