I see my clients at my home shop and do not want my address to appear until they have actually booked an appointment. Is this possible to configure?
To protect the privacy of your home address you can remove the address and map from your digital receipts in the Square Dashboard. Navigate to Settings -> Account Settings -> Payments -> Receipts and then toggle the "show location" option to off.

Further to @spgr's answer, I have implemented a few similar Square solutions for home based businesses. We have used Square's customer notifications to then send the address to the customer as part of the booking process (in some cases on appointment confirmation and in others, only when the confirmation message is sent for example). Hope that helps!
You can keep your home address hidden by switching your location to “mobile” in Square and adding custom booking notes that only show after confirmation. I did something similar and paired it with a virtual address from Remote Office so clients only see that until they actually book. It keeps things tidy and still feels professional without giving away your doorstep.
You can absolutely handle this scenario with the right setup—it's a common concern for home-based businesses that prioritize privacy.
Most modern booking systems allow you to hide your exact address until an appointment is confirmed. Instead of displaying your full location publicly, you can show a general service area (like city or neighborhood) and then automatically send the precise address in a confirmation email or after successful booking. This approach not only protects your privacy but also keeps the user experience smooth and professional.
From a broader home management perspective, platforms focused on home discovering often highlight similar strategies—balancing accessibility with privacy for home-based services. Additionally, if you're optimizing your setup or workspace, you might find useful ideas in home upgrading mintpalment, especially when designing a client-friendly yet secure home environment.
If your current booking tool doesn’t support this feature, consider switching to one that allows conditional visibility or automated post-booking disclosures—it’s worth it for both security and professionalism.
