Hi @jordanrhoades!
Thanks for writing in with your question, that sounds like a great service idea.
At this time, Square Online does support selling subscription plans, but the specific combination of subscriptions with custom, customer-managed scheduling and delivery dates that you’re describing isn’t something Square currently offers natively.
You can sell subscription plans for items with shipping through Square Online, which allows customers to subscribe to a recurring plan. The billing schedule is set based on the date the customer subscribes, and customers can manage certain aspects of their subscription, such as updating their details, pausing, or cancelling. However, customers aren’t able to select, add, remove, or edit custom delivery dates or schedules within their subscription. This is likely where you’ll see the biggest gap between what Square offers today and what you’re looking to build.
If you’d like to learn more about subscriptions, you can explore them here. It’s also free to sign up for a Square account if you’d like to test out the subscription features and see how they work in practice.
For now, the short answer is that these advanced subscription scheduling features aren’t currently supported out of the box, and achieving something similar would require manual workarounds or third-party tools. That said, if you have any follow-up questions or want to talk through possible alternatives, feel free to let us know, we’re happy to help.
