New Subscribption Plan for Appointments starting April 2022

I’m a small business owner whose business is calendar-driven and have been using square for a few years now for appointments and invoicing. I recently received an email notification that the model for appointments was going to change and decided to switch plans before a platform-wide switch, in case I needed to get used to any changes in the user interface.

 

I CAN NOT BELIEVE that google calendar syncing is not part of the base plan and has been disconnected on my account! You're essentially forcing me to upgrade to a plan with features i do not need and is out of my price point. IT’S OUTRAGEOUS!

 

Other booking software is way less expensive for a monthly subscription and most let you sync your calendar on their free plan ie. Calendly.

 

THERE IS NO POINT IN USING A BOOKING SOFTWARE if it can not sync to your calendar, and why existing customers aren’t Grandfathered in makes no sense.

 

Now I have to spend valuable time replacing Square instead of taking care of my clients!

I just joined this community to state the same exact thing. I run a very small sewing business in my home that is heavily calendar based and realized I lost both Google Calendar Integration and Daily Appointment Limits. My business is too small to absorb the $60 monthly fee for the next tier up with Square. I believe I am now forced to find another appointment solution.

 

Many other software companies offer smaller tiers Free/$10/$20 with many more features than square is offering, most of those features are given with the free versions and they charge based off quantity of locations, employees etc... I'm looking at switching over to 10to8.com, very sad.
