My studio offers makeup classes when a client misses a lesson. Is there a way to comp a class or give a customer a gift code that they can use to make up the class without paying?

1. Create a Discount Code:

   • Go to your Square Dashboard.
   • Navigate to the "Items" section and select "Discounts."
   • Click on "Create a Discount" and fill in the details, such as the discount name, amount (set it to 100% for a full comp), and any applicable restrictions.
   • Save the discount code and share it with the client to use when booking the makeup class.

2. Issue a Gift Card:

   • Go to the "Gift Cards" section in your Square Dashboard.
   • Select "Sell eGift Cards" and choose the amount equivalent to the cost of the class.
   • Send the eGift card to the client via email, allowing them to use it for the makeup class.
