How to link my iPad/retail at the bar to the calendar/POS station at the front desk?

I have Square POS station at the front desk.  We log in using Square Calendar so our main view is the daily appt calendar.  We can also check customers out at that station.

 

In the back, at the bar, we have an iPad in a Square iPad stand logged into Square Retail.  This allows us to sell beer/soda/snacks and open tabs.

 

The question I have is how do I link the two stations together?  When a customer comes in we check them in, verify their appt service.  We could take payment at that time at the front register, however my staff will check them out at the end in hopes of better tips.  The problem is if the customer opens a tab at the bar we don't have a way to open that tab/saved cart at the front register.  The reason I want to check customers out at the front register is to associate them with their appointment as I feel like it does a better job of tracking returning customers as the appt is associated with a new customer entry in the database.  Of course that only works for customers that book online.  

 

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community.

 

Currently, there isn't a way to link your iPad using Square for Retail to the Square Appointments station. However, if you use the Square Appointments app along with the Square Point of Sale app, you can set up Open Tickets and access the order from either device. Please note that Open Tickets is not available on the Square for Retail app at this time.
