When will gift cards be added as a checkout option for payment????? This is necessary!
Hello @Facesbyetosh thanks for your post. Are you using a Square POS or Register for in-person transactions? If you customer bought an e-gift card, You should be able to pull up that customer in the register screen and see gift cards stored on their account.
You can also select gift card on the screen after you click on the blue "charge" button for the total amount. Are you able to see this option?
I'm referring to the process when a client schedules an appointment on my site. I have prepay activated. So if I client purchased a gift card, it doesn't allow them to input gift card info. Instead I have clients paying with a card and then I have to refund them or have to schedule the appointment on their behalf. I hope that makes sense.
sorry, yes @Facesbyetosh I understand. I don't use appointments so i didn't realize this process. Maybe another Square Seller that uses appointments will have a solution for you. I agree this isn't an ideal situation for either you or your customers.
