Find out the source for my customers booking

New Square user here

I am receiving customer appointments on square appointments,

I use multiple platforms that integrate with square appointments, such as Square site, my website, instagram, Google, Facebook etc,

Is there a way for me to know which platform did the customer use to book my appointment, it would help me understand what platform is working the best and focus my marketing resources on that.

Thank you

MM

Hey there @mitin.  I checked online dashboard > Payments > Appointments > Settings > History, and did an export of appointment history.  Unfortunately, that CSV file does not seem to contain the “source” of the appointment.  Neither does clicking on an historical appointment in the history list.  So it seems that this information is not visible/accessible right now.

Unfortunately, all that you can do is to head over to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Square Appointments team.  That will get the ball rolling on evaluating and deciding whether or not they want to add this new feature to the future product roadmap.  But, for the foreseeable future, I can’t find a way to do what you are asking for.

Hi THere @TheRealChipA  Thanks for the info,  I will do that and submit a feature request. I am very surprised that Square isn't capturing and/or providing that information, It would be extremely beneficial for the business to know which platforms are producing results .

@mitin You’re welcome.  Actually, I’d bet that they are capturing that information.  But every once in a while we sellers find “hidden” information like this.  One notorious example of “hidden” information lies in the Loyalty piece of the Square ecosystem.  Currently, LOTS of loyalty information at the customer level is hidden from us, though it is obvious that it is available to be made visible.  Hopefully, your request takes care of this one!  When you submit the request, please come back here and post the link to it.  I will upvote it and add my own comments.
