Do I have to download the appointments app or can I use my pos app for appointments?

Do I have to download the appointments app or can I use my pos app for appointments on my Iphone and if so how do get the updated version?  I went to the App Store and updated my pos app and I'm still unable to get appointments in the menu of my pos app?

To get access to Square Appointments and its features, you'll need to get started with either the free or paid version of Square Appointments by following the link to the plan you choose here. Then, you will need to download the Square Appointments app for your iPhone from the App Store to be able to use Square Appointments.
