BOOKING FEES and DEPOSITS

I am in the beauty industry, and i find it is of my best interest to charge booking fees.

I have 2 issues :

1)With Prepaid appointments, i wish to EDIT the services on my end before confirming and accepting the payment if a client chooses the wrong service. but it wont allow me,

The only option i get is to contact the customer to rebook online which defeats the purpose of ease of having a booking system…

2)I am charging 50% of the service to be prepaid online when booked and the “display price” contains the total amount of service.

Once i confirm an appointment and 50% is paid- Is there a way to have the remaining amount be paid on the same appointment slot in the calendar? So i can just click the client name in the calendar and finalize the total payment AFTER a service?

instead of going through extra steps of making a new appointment under their name at check out etc. for their remaining amount.

I do not wish to hold cards on file and ask for cancelation fees when someone doesn’t follow my policy… but i did not run into these issues until i started NEEDING To have prepaid booking fees.

Hi there, @DaliaLuna😀👋

Thanks for reaching out.

For the prepaid issue, my advice would be to have them pay for 100% of the service up front as the only workaround currently. You are able to cancel a service and rebook for the merchant if you need to, but anything that needs to be prepaid would have to be done on the customer's end if you are not keeping cards on file.
