Video Square inventory tracking issue.mp4

We are trying to turn OFF inventory tracking for an item. I turn it off, save the item, and re-open the item - "tracking" is still on. Video is attached. I also tried downloading the item CSV, removing the # in the inventory column, then re-uploading, but this doesn't have any impact. I also switched the "Enabled {location}" column to "No", then re-uploaded the CSV. This DID remove inventory tracking but also removed the item from any of our locations. When I added the location back, it switched Tracking to "On" and added back the previous inventory amount that was there before I uploaded the CSV. Any ideas???
