Our purpose is for you to find connection, advice, encouragement, and community with fellow women in business and allies. This community is built for and by you, so make it your own.

First step: Introduce yourself in this thread! We want to get to know each and everyone one of you here. Stuck on how you should introduce yourself to other lady bosses? Here are some things to cover: Tell us who you are, what you’re working on and what type of business you own. If you have an online store, feel free to share with the group!

Our guiding principles

We all want productive, friendly conversation propelling us forward. Keep these in mind when posting:

• Share actionable information/material. We want this group to provide advice and actions that you can implement immediately to improve your business. Give context when asking questions and be detailed in your responses. Post about the difficult things so we can figure out an answer together as a community.
• Assume good intent. Tone on the internet is very difficult to convey. Let’s assume that everyone posting here comes from a place of good intention, so we can do the same. If anything feels amiss, please report it to our moderators.
• Treat your fellow sellers with respect. We all come from different backgrounds and may not always agree with one another, but we can always treat each other with respect. We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment or abuse of sellers or moderators because this should be a happy place on the internet.
• No spam or excessive self promotion. We’ve all seen those groups with the same people posting the same thing every single day. Let’s respect each other’s time and refrain from this type of excessive self promotion. But, by all means, when it’s time to celebrate you, shout that accomplishment from the rooftops!

Hello! Thank you for allowing me to join your group! I'm so excited to connect with other woman who want to uplift each other to success! My name is Leah and after moving to the beach two years ago, this January i started Beach Vibes Picnic Company located in Fort Walton Beach Florida. I set up low boho style picnics on the beach and also I do proposal setups.  Currently its only myself and my husband who helps me drag things through the sand! Lol Owning a business is a new venture for me as my background was in customer service in dental for 25 years so any advice is appreciated!

Good luck! My only advise as another family only business owner is to accept baby steps in growth rather than spending a fortune that strains the budget on advertising. Look for the free or nearly free advertising opportunities.

You nailed it, the path I'm on. It's not even by choice, all my budget went to production. But I am excited in seeing the numbers in traffic and activity increase in baby steps. Sales will follow. Thank You MamaPanda!

Thank you for the advice! Yes, I totally agree! I'm in the learning phase right now. Learning what works and what doesn't and taking it slow as to not overwhelm myself. I've taken advantage of Google, fb and instagram right now as marketing tools which are free but is very time consuming.

Hi everyone I'm Erika and I run a small craft buisness where I make handmade mugs, jumpers, tumblers etc. 

I started last July as I wanted to create an extra income doing something I enjoy.

I've learnt so much like using free services and social media and Ad insence I'm still learning everyday and it's hard but I've give myself 3 years to get it going to earn a full wage if nit then at least I've tried. I'd love to help share ideas and ways to get traffic to your site to help others and to learn things to help growth fir my own buisness.
