Happy 2020!๐ŸŽ‡ What are your New Year's Resolutions?

New Yearโ€™s Resolutions that can be exciting for some, while daunting for others. Personally, my approach is to start with small goals and build upon them in 2020. Here's my top 3 list of how to conquer the new year.

  1. Set off your alarm to go off 20 mins earlier and read (scrolling through social media does not count). Often, when the alarm goes off, we find ourselves jumping out of bed and pacing around. Waking up a few minutes before and taking time to read can do wonders. It gives us the opportunity to ground ourselves before taking on the day.
  2. Spend more time outside. Have you ever had a busy day where the only time spent outside was to grab some coffee or drop off the mail? I've been there too many times! This year I plan on spending more time outside even if that means taking a different route or ditching transportation to go to the store and opting for a stroll instead. Spending more time outside helps us appreciate the small things in life, such as bumping into an old friend on the street, catching some vitamin D, or listening to a good podcast on your way.
  3. Do something good for someone every day. We could all do with more kindness in this world. Doing something good for someone does not need to be a big task. Paying it forward at a coffee shop, offering someone a hand, or taking the time to acknowledge those around you can have a powerful impact on people's day.

What are your resolutions for the new year, either personal or business-related?

My hope and prayer is that I SLOW DOWN this year! Yes I need to work, but for years now, that's almost all I do.

I wanna live life and enjoy friends and family!

@sugarmamma Ah, yes! I can imagine it was extra busy with the holidays. Making time to enjoy life and spend time with friends and family is key. Wishing you the best in this new year! ๐Ÿ˜Š
