Why can't I authenticate my email address?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: cant authenticate my email address. 

 

I have no idea what is wrong . I had to make a new email account for my webstore. So i did and entered the information correctly and i am not getting the email to authenticate my email account. I  know the email is correct,  because thats the email i have to use to log in?  please help

Hi @eddieenterprise.  You didn’t mention this, so I am not going to assume anything.  Did you check the junk/spam box for your new email account?  It’s highly possibly that emails from Square are being filtered out there since it is such a new account.

Thank you for your help Chip. I did as you advised and it was a type in the email on the website. Support got it corrected and all is good.  Thank you
