Given the surprising lack of any beneficial development occuring, I've decided to start this thread as an opportunity for @Seamus and team to let the community know exactly what IS being worked on ... and perhaps outline expected rollouts. Given the forum guidelines, I'm sure all users would appreciate a professional level of response and engagement - far beyond "I have nothing more to share about x/y/z feature being considered/developed/ignored".
It's a two way street at the end of the day, so Square/Weebly ... inform the community ... what's being worked on? Currently? In to the future?

In the past few months Square has and will continue to roll out new features for Online Store.
We've added pickup and delivery, then expanded on these new features with options such as delivery radius, pickup time slots, adding the ability to pickup from different locations, and added payment links for individual items. There's been a lot of non-visible back end engineering work on the platform that allow changes to happen without impacting existing functionality, and helps us lay a foundation upon which we can further expand the platform in the coming months. Our Customer Support team has undergone Online Store training and can now help with many Online Store issues over the phone, where previously the only option was to get in touch with Weebly via email.
I appreciate that you'd like more insight into what's in the works and wish we were able to share more! At the moment we're able to share information on new features as they're made public, however Square doesn't currently publicize our product development pipeline. Often features take more time and work than initially anticipated and product development pipelines can change and evolve over time. Indeed, our development pipeline has shifted in response to COVID-19, and many Online Store features have been pushed forward as a result of this.
I'm sorry this isn't quite going to be the answer you're looking for here! Personally, I advocate for our Seller Community internally and make sure feedback such as yours is heard. While this isn't visible, and while I don't have the ability to make every request become a reality, making sure Australian sellers voices are heard is something I take seriously and will continue to advocate for!
Thanks for the lengthy reply @Seamus ... It's a little unclear though, are you claiming that features that have been released under "we're making Covid easier" have ceased all other progress and development?
If that's the case how far off are the original scheduled things? What was the timeline setback?
☺️ You get where I'm going with this ... while your replies are appreciated, if they hold no weight and offer no actual insight (beyond "we do stuff, but we'll never tell you until it's done") they are effectively worthless to the community.

I'm sorry you feel that way. The information you're been looking for regarding Square's product development pipeline and what we're working on behind the scenes is not information we're able to share publicly.
