The color-coded indicator system for tickets is very useful, as it provides a clear visual indicator of how long customers have been waiting. However, I believe a slight improvement could be made by resetting the color indicator after each course is completed. In our restaurant, it can become confusing since some guests order multiple courses while others may only order one. Additionally, I've noticed that the staff tend to feel stressed when they see red indicators on the KDS, even though they know starters have already been served.
