Square Sales Contact

I have literally talked to four different Square agents (all four of whom didn't know their own software), I've requested three meetings with sales, so I can actually *buy* software for my business, but to no avail, I finally secured a meeting 30 minutes ago--only for the agent to literally cancel two minutes before the meeting because the Square bot supposedly arranged a meeting for me, which has not—and I predict will not—materialize. Is there anyone who actually works at Square? Or do they not care to sell their product anymore? I have no idea why I'm even trying at this point, but is there some secret number to call to actually talk to someone who cares about this company?

I'm sorry you're having difficulties getting in touch with someone at Sqaure @kb12106 . Are you looking for someone to help you set up an account or talk you through the different features of Square? What kind of business do you have?

 

Square is generally focused on making sure the Square platform is running well, I've had minimal interactions with their sales team because for the most part you're generally buying one POS (or whatever initial setup you need for your business) or card reader and then you are setting up your item library and business and going from there.

 

Honestly I like Square as a business because they don't have a pushy sales team and I chose them out specifically because of their transparent pricing structure for processing and fees. Keep in mind Square employs lots of different teams of people so most of them may not know every detail about their software as they may be hyper focused on one area of the business.

 

Again, I apologize that the meeting you had got cancelled and hopefully you can get your questions answered by Square or those of us that help out on the Seller Community. 

 

Feel free to list any concerns or questions and we can do our best to help guide you properly, Square is honestly one of the more receptive companies to deal with. I called our old POS company before switching to Square to ask a simple question and they wouldn't even answer it without me paying for technical support and our old credit card processor was gouging us because we get lots of Amex and credit cards.

What are you looking to talk to Sales about?  there is no software to buy like when you used to go to OfficeMax and get a copy of Microsoft Office.  There are lots of users here with decades of experience that can help too.

Square POS can be downloaded and instantly you can start playing with the idea of how to arrange your items and categories for the easiest way for your employees to ring up transactions and for you to track items and sales history.  I have only talked to sales once and it was 12 years ago setting up our custom rate as we were bringing over an account with sales of over a million.
