Having a lot of trouble with squares, seems there is a problem every time we use it!

First it said I had to link a bank account despite having paying into the registered account for over 3 years.

Was told I have to set up a new business account or I would t get the money their excuse was said bank had blocked payments? After hours on the phone and a twenty mile trip to the bank I found out this wasn't true, but square was not satisfied. Opened another account and now the issue is it wants verification or it's shutting us down??

Issue: they want face recognition, something it never asked for to set up? link will not send me through to face verification and is saying my phone settings won't allow access??? Yet again this is not true my settings are open. I have to verify who I am before the 29th July or they are closing the account? I don't actually care if they do but will the money they are holding be automatically transferred or scammed by square because I do feel this app is an absolute joke and a scam

I am sorry to hear you have been having these issues. These additional security steps are to protect your account.

From what I can see, it looks like we are needing to just verify your identity with your ID and a selfie. This is available on your Square Dashboard. In order to receive your funds, you will have to complete that security step.
