Shouting this from the rooftops...STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNK PLATFORM!

Weebly used to be a warm and user-friendly platform that made web designing and hosting a breeze. Now, since Square has acquired Weebly, it feels like a sterile, empty, robot-centric and human-less entity that has no concern for helping the customer. The interface is awful..no customer service...no responsiveness whatsoever....I'm having so much difficulty troubleshooting an issue that was non-existent back in the days where Weebly was a standalone company and I made several websites for small businesses I owned as well as ones I helped my friends build. I am extremely frustrated and am going to be fighting for a full refund of my money. I paid for the full year in advance and I'm just sick about it. I can't overstate it....if you used to use Weebly (like me) and chose to return to make a new site since the Square partnership, turn around and run in the opposite direction. You will be grossly disappointed (at a minimum). Waste of hard-earned money and hours of my time that I cannot get back (trying to troubleshoot problems on my own that only a a customer representative has the knowledge and access to be able to do.) Worst decision, don't make my same mistake!

Hi @TMCH.  I get the distinct feeling that you had no purpose with this post except to warn other people and vent your frustrations.  If so, don’t feel the need to reply to mine, as there will be no need of a reply.

If, however, you were hoping that someone here in the Seller Community might be able to help you with whatever issues you have, I’ve used Weebly to build two small web sites (one for another company I own, not this one, and another for a friend who didn’t need all of the Square Online bells and whistles).  As a former Weebly (pre-Square) user I haven’t found any difference in the Web-based site builder (I never used their old app because it was cR*&), but I’ll admit to not having dug too deeply since my needs through Weebly these days are pretty straight-forward and uncomplicated.

So, if you want to take the time to explain the issues you are having now, and be specific about what you need to happen, I’ll be more than happy to see if I can assist you in find a resolution or two.  No guarantees I can, of course, but I’m pretty good in this arena.  However, if I’m wrong about you looking for someone to help you, please accept my apologies.  Sometimes people just need to vent when things change that they don’t like.  I get that.
