Report that shows fees by category

Based on this thread, seems there is a large need for a report that shows fees by category.   In my business I need to account for our deposit by categories. However, I need to be able to deduct the fees per category to get an accurate representation of our actual income PER CATEGORY. I tried the Transaction CSV but some people paid for multiple items/multiple categories with a single transaction, so it's left me with a "best guess" on what fees are for each category. I recently migrated from Stripe to Square, and Stripe had this ability....   The category report is helpful, but then I do a "best guess" on what the fees per category are. If you could add the columns "Fees" and "Net Sales After Fees" to that report, it would be golden!

Yes, this is an essential need. We have multiple suppliers on consignment and need to be able to have them in their own category. If someone buys a $10 item from one category and a $20 item from another for a total of $30, it should show 1/3 of the Square fees in category 1 and 2/3 of the fees in category 2.

I'm looking for the exact same report. I need to be able to account for the fees by category.

I too need this reporting feature as I expense fees per category. This would be great even if it was just a CSV file that I could sort in Excel instead of having to look up every single transaction receipt and hand calculate the fees. I'd even be happy if the fees were just shown in the category or item report already available.

Dear Square, please add the option to show fees paid by category sales.

The only solution I've found through many of your own chats on this subject is to generate the transactions report which can be too lengthy to sort through on a regular basis for sales reporting.
