Re: how does square contact you for disputes

Also dealing with the same thing. Did you ever get your money??? My account has been suspended after someone hacked me and took out a square capital loan under my business and now it has been 2.5 weeks and still none of my sales have come through.  My business is in jeopardy big time since I have no income and cannot pay bills or my employees. They keep telling me "by the end of the day or first thing tomorrow it will be resolved".  I've been told that 5 different days now and nothing! I'm so scared my business is going to pay the ultimate price for this.

I have moved your message to a private board so we can discuss your case better. The current delay in the situation is that the Square Financial Services team is working on recovering the funds and they have placed a hold on the account to make sure you aren't debited or charged during the process. I will escalate the matter to the team so they can understand the urgency of resolving this situation. I will update you once I hear back from the team.

Hello JJ, 

 

Thank you for reaching out.  I was promised a call from a manager this morning but still have yet to receive a call.  I understand the need for account security but I have also made it very known to all of the folks I've talked to at square just how dire of a situation this is for me right now.  I seriously cannot pay my employees, myself, nor my bills that are due until that money comes through.  At this point I have close to $10,000 in sales I've made over this month that are held up because of being hacked.  This is mine, & my employees, livelihood at stake. I have been promised day after day over this past week that the matter would be resolved in 24-48hrs & each time that promise has not been made. It is incredibly frustrating & I am absolutely terrified to lose my business that I have worked so hard at for the last 7 years. I have been a loyal customer to square for the past 7 years & I don't feel that my situation is being considered to be as dire as it is to me. 

 

Multiple days I have been promised email updates or calls back to let me know what is going on with my money but have not received that correspondence. There has to be some way for my sales to be released to me.  Those sales have nothing in common with being hacked.  It feels borderline illegal that my money is being held against my will.  I need it to come through or I will be in debt from bills & to my employees.  This is very serious! Please help me!
