Re: Square Messages is currently experiencing issues sending text messages.

On my end, I can reply if a customer messages me, but I can't compose a new message to a customer that hasn't recently messaged me.  For example, a customer who usually has good attendance was a no-show, so I wanted to send them an outreach message, but Square would't let me.  I am pasting below something that I posted elsewhere in this thread yesterday:

 

CALL TO ACTION FOR SELLERS

I am no longer satisfied to call Support, or chat to Moderators in this forum about this issue, as that approach has not resulted in appropriate action or communication from Square.  I suspect that it may be more effective to take our complaints to forums that are public-facing.  So, beginning tomorrow, I am going to post one negative review per day on some external website, such as google, yelp, facebook, and the like, until Messaging functionality has been restored to baseline.  If EVERYONE that has posted dissatisfaction in this forum did the same, I bet we would see a more robust response from Square.  Who's with me?
