Payroll product: Massive disappointment

Has anyone else had problems with Square's payroll product.  It has taken over 1.5 months to resolve my setup and ability to use product.  Customer Service bounced back and forth between general customer service and payroll service.  Payroll Representative schedule appointments and do not make them.  

 

The final straw was being told by Square (after September 30 quarterly tax filing deadline) that "technically" since they did not run a payroll, they could not handle my tax filing.  "Technically, I did not pay, because I did not run a payroll..I did not run a payroll because their payroll rep missed the appointment date and provided me with a general number to call back (so the message did not get to him)...What a mess.  Spoke with a Payroll Supervisor and told it was my responsible to run the payroll and they are not a payroll company "per sec".  Patronizing and no way to escalate.  

 

How can a client not escape to speak with someone, they cannot provide a number to corporate office, only the customer service group that bounced me around from the beginning. Sign up in August, it now October,  Horrible service all the way around.  The Payroll Department needs customer service training.
